Reviving the Legacy: Sirijanga Lipi Keyboard for Windows

The Sirijanga Lipi is more than a writing system. It is the beating heart of the Limbu identity, a sacred thread woven through generations. It flows like a Himalayan river—strong, pure, and ancestral. The script is indigenous, unique, and carries our myths, rituals, and songs.

A Tribute to Sirijanga Sing Thebe – The Flame That Never Died

Sirijanga Sing Thebe was not just a name — he was a vision, a revolution, a mountain of courage. Born in the shadows of ancient traditions and political silence, he stood as a lightbearer of the Kirat Limbu people. When the indigenous scripts and voices were being erased, he reignited the script, reunited the roots, and rekindled the identity of his people.

He revived the Sirijanga script in the 18th century and spread literacy and knowledge among the Limbu community. His dream was not just about letters—it was about liberation. Sadly, his flame was extinguished by those who feared his light. But legends do not die. Today, through every letter typed in the Sirijanga Lipi, his soul lives on.

Sirijanga Lipi – Our Script, Our Soul

The Sirijanga Lipi is more than a writing system. It is the beating heart of the Limbu identity, a sacred thread woven through generations. It flows like a Himalayan river—strong, pure, and ancestral. The script is indigenous, unique, and carries our myths, rituals, and songs.

Each symbol in the Sirijanga script is a memory—of elders teaching under trees, of songs sung in the fields, of prayers whispered in temples. To write in Sirijanga Lipi is to connect with your ancestors, to honor the cultural bloodline that flows through you.

About the Developer – Wanju Wayba

I am Wanju Wayba, a proud Tamang, digital innovator, and cultural activist from Nepal. My heart beats for the indigenous scripts, identities, and languages that are slowly fading in silence. I believe technology should preserve—not replace—our roots.

I have dedicated years to developing keyboard software for Tamyik Lipi, Sirijanga Lipi, Rong Lipi,Nepal lipi and more, because I believe our scripts deserve the same digital dignity as global languages. I work with passion, not profit. Every script I support, every tool I build—is a gift to the next generation.
